About us

Royal Africa plans private, tailor-made kosher tours of South Africa: safaris in the Kruger, Cape Town, Johannesburg and beyond, with kosher dining from hotel to bush. We're based in Johannesburg and plan trips all year round for families, simchas and couples.

## Gavi Shaw & Ariel Yachad

Royal Africa is run by Gavi Shaw and Ariel Yachad. Both have been involved in hospitality and tours for many years, running Pesach programmes and events for a few hundred people each. That's the experience we bring to every trip: getting the food, the logistics and the details right for a large group, so each guest is looked after.

## What that means for your trip

- **Kosher you can rely on.** All our food falls under the South African Kashrus Department, with Mehadrin Commission (Chabad Shechitah) meat, all dairy Chalav Yisrael, and a mashgiach always on hand.
- **Shabbos planned in from the start.** Itineraries are built so Shabbos is kept clear and nobody travels close to it.
- **One team from first message to last day.** Gavi builds your quote and day-by-day plan, and we arrange most of the travel within your trip.
